Green Glue is a revolutionary sound proofing material which is very popular amongst acoustic industry professionals as well as DIY sound-proofers. It works well as part of any standard stud wall and can be added to existing walls, floors and ceilings along with additional layers of plasterboard. It effectively doubles the performance of your plasterboard and is particularly effective at low frequencies.
When sandwiched between 2 sheets of plasterboard the noise reduction through a wall is improved dramatically. It works by damping vibration which enters the wall, reducing the amount of sound energy which gets through to the other side.

How much do I need to buy?
This price is for a box of 12 tubes. You can use a minimum of 1 tube and a maximum of 3 tubes per standard 8′ x 4′ (2.4M x 1.2M) sheet of plasterboard. For most applications 2 tubes per 8′ x 4′ sheet are recommended. Use our handy Green Glue calculator to work out exactly how much you’ll need.
We offer an even lower price on full boxes of 12 tubes or more. Don’t forget you’ll also need a US (quart) size applicator gun from us.
